Survive Your Ideas does not yet have a verified, fixed list of every accepted prompt. The safest way to use the current word pool is to treat the examples below as tested categories and starting points, not as guaranteed results. When you become the round's writer, enter a word or short phrase and immediately read what appears: the same idea can create a weapon, creature, disaster, place, food, object, or special effect, while some inputs are stopped by the filter.
Prompt categories in Survive Your Ideas
The wiki currently identifies ten broad word categories. The examples in the table are the words or effects specifically supported by the current game description, wiki material, update notes, or gameplay records. A category label is useful for planning, but it is not a promise that every related dictionary word is recognized.
| Prompt category | Supported examples | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Weapons | gun, sniper rifle, AWP, sword, laser gun | Attack tool or defensive option |
| Monsters | Siren Head, Invisible Monster, zombies, demon | Hostile threat that may need fighting or escape |
| Animals | shark, chicken, dog, cat | Creature whose behavior can vary by prompt |
| Nature | Category confirmed; no complete example list | Environmental object or natural effect |
| Weather | Category confirmed; exact effects not fully listed | A condition that can change movement and visibility |
| Disasters | tsunami, flood, wildfire, supernova | Large-area hazard requiring quick repositioning |
| Places | Titanic, Backrooms | New space or temporary location |
| Food | cookies, pizza | Possible supply or interactable object |
| Objects | Category confirmed; exact list is incomplete | Obstacle, prop, shelter, or interactable |
| Memes & Powers | anti-gravity, flight, wings, time travel | Movement, status, or unusual special effect |
Use the rows as a decision aid rather than a ranking. Weapons and movement powers can give you an immediate response to danger. Monsters and disasters are better treated as threats unless the current arena gives you a safe way to exploit them. Places and ordinary objects may change the terrain, but their useful position and behavior are not guaranteed from the word alone.
Best words for different situations
There is no evidence-backed universal “best word” list yet. The wiki's Best Words page is still marked unfinished, and the game's recent update added more than 40 words, improved Meta Words, and rebalanced word strength. That means an old video recommendation can be a useful idea without being a current tier ranking.
Choose by the problem in front of you:
- Need to fight: Try a supported weapon example such as
gun, sniper rifle,AWP, orswordwhen you are the writer and can safely use the resulting object. A weapon does not remove the need to aim, move, or avoid another hazard. - Need distance or mobility:
flight, wings, oranti-gravityare documented special-effect examples. Watch the result before committing to a jump or route; the exact strength and duration are not established. - Need a terrain change: A place such as
TitanicorBackrooms, or a normal object, may alter where players can move. Keep a fallback route because the generated location may not be positioned where you want it. - Want pressure on other players: A monster or disaster can change the whole round, but it can also hurt the player who created it.
tsunami, flood, wildfire, andsupernovashould be treated as shared hazards, not safe attacks; use the survival response guide when one appears. - Need a possible supply:
cookiesandpizzahave appeared as food examples. Their exact recovery value is not confirmed, so do not stop moving just because food spawned.
Use disaster prompts safely in the survival round
This moment shows a tsunami appearing and then disappearing, supporting the warning that disaster prompts can change the survival round and should be treated as shared hazards.
The practical “best word” is therefore the supported word that solves the current problem while leaving you a recovery option. If the round is already crowded with threats, a new disaster is usually a riskier choice than a weapon, object, or movement effect. If you are trapped, a mobility or place prompt may be more useful than a stronger attack. These are situational choices, not permanent rankings.
How prompts become game objects
Only the current writer gets the input opportunity for a turn. The game selects a random player during the survival round, and the submitted word then comes to life in the arena. Words stack as the round continues, so later prompts are evaluated in an increasingly busy space rather than in an empty test room.
When your turn starts, use this sequence:
- Check the arena first. Identify the nearest hazard, open route, high ground, cover, and other players. A prompt is valuable only if its result helps the position you actually occupy.
- Choose a category and a clear term. Use a concrete supported example rather than assuming the game will understand a vague plan. A weapon, named creature, food item, disaster, place, or power gives you a readable outcome to evaluate.
- Submit once and watch the result. The object or effect may appear immediately or very soon after the input. Do not treat the word as successful until you can see what it did.
- Classify the result. Decide whether it is a resource, cover, enemy, moving hazard, terrain change, or player-state effect. Then change your route around that classification.
- Keep a recovery route. Generated objects can block movement, and a disaster can affect everyone. Move away from the new danger, use a weapon if that is safe, or seek cover instead of standing still to admire the result.
This matters because a prompt is an action in the survival round, not a chat command that can be tested without consequences. The Roblox description says that words keep stacking and the last surviving player wins, so every input can influence the next players' decisions as well as your own.
Confirmed examples and uncertain results
Gameplay records show several concrete examples: Siren Head, an invisible monster, zombies, demons, sharks, chickens, dogs, cats, guns, sniper rifles, AWP, swords, pizza, cookies, Titanic, Backrooms, anti-gravity, flight, wings, and time travel. Disaster examples include a tsunami, flood, wildfire, and supernova. These examples confirm that the prompt system can cover very different result types; they do not establish a complete dictionary or exact behavior for every spelling.
The following boundaries are important when using a word list:
- A category is not a full dictionary. The Words page explicitly says it is unfinished. Nature, Weather, and Objects are recognized categories, but a complete verified list of their accepted terms is not available here.
- A visible example is not a guaranteed recipe. The result can depend on the current game version, the exact input, placement, and the state of the round. Treat each prompt as a live test with a possible downside.
- A blocked input is not a failed effect. Gameplay records show the filter blocking some submissions. If the game rejects a word, replace it with another clear term rather than waiting for an object that will not appear.
- A dangerous prompt can affect its creator. Zombies, monsters, floods, wildfires, tsunamis, and other large results can force everyone to move. Have cover or distance before using them.
- Food is not confirmed healing. Pizza and cookies appear in gameplay, but their exact recovery behavior and values are not established. Use them as possible supplies, not guaranteed med kits.
React to zombie prompts and incoming threats
This moment follows a zombie prompt and players running, supporting the advice to treat zombies as dangerous results and move or fight from a safer position.
Meta Words, combos, and Word Mastery
Meta Words are a special system rather than an ordinary category. The latest update says they became smarter and more useful, but it does not publish a complete list or exact trigger rules. Use a known current prompt first if survival is the priority, and do not assume that a meta term will produce a normal object.
Combos are also not ready for a reliable all-words guide. The wiki separates Free Combos and Gamepass Combos, but both sections remain unfinished placeholders. There is no verified recipe list here, so do not promise that a particular pair, order, or ownership status will create a specific result.
Word Mastery is the clearest new progression system. The update says that repeatedly using favorite words can complete Mastery quests and unlock buffed versions with greater strength and a new look. The exact quest conditions, progress requirements, and reward details are not published, so record what the current in-game interface says instead of relying on an old checklist.
Keeping a useful prompt list
For a practical personal list, record three things after each accepted input: the exact spelling, the result category, and whether it helped or harmed your position. Separate stable ideas such as “weapon” or “mobility” from one-time observations such as where a place spawned. This prevents a dramatic video moment from becoming an overstated guarantee.
Recheck the list after updates. The November 7, 2026 update added 40 or more words, introduced Word Mastery, improved Meta Words, and adjusted word balance. Older prompts may still work, but their strength, appearance, or usefulness may have changed. The current in-game result is the final check when a recommendation conflicts with an older list.
First-time Survive Your Ideas prompt questions
Can I type any word whenever I want?
No. The game gives the input opportunity to one randomly selected writer during a round, and the filter can block some submissions. Wait for your turn and use another clear term if the game rejects the first input.
Are the words on this list guaranteed to create the same result?
No. The examples are supported prompt ideas, not a promise of identical size, placement, strength, or duration. Check the live result in the current round and react to what appears.
Are Best Words and Combos complete yet?
No. The wiki pages for Best Words and Combos are marked unfinished, so they should not be treated as verified rankings or recipes. Use the current arena and in-game result to judge whether a prompt helps.
What changed in the latest word update?
The November 7, 2026 update added 40 or more words, introduced Word Mastery, improved Meta Words, rebalanced words, and included map and bug-fix changes. The update does not publish a complete prompt dictionary or every Mastery requirement.
